USA To Italy – X2 Members Viamar & Transatlantic
Recently two X2 Elite members, Viamar SRL and Transttlantic North America Inc. worked together on a shipment of industrial equipment from the USA to Italy.
The cargo: Cabinet foaming fixture with hydraulic pump and control panel is an experimental piece and was being returned to Italy. The total weight of the shipment is 13,670 pounds.
Although the actual process of the shipment itself went smoothly, Mother Nature did shake things up a bit. Shortly after the equipment was loaded the weather along the US East Coast became a concern. Temperatures plunged and formed what has come to be known a Bomb Cyclone.
A Bomb Cyclone is essentially a cold weather hurricane. Definitely not the best of conditions for almost anything.
In the end, the shipment arrived safely back home in Italy.
